I Love Nerds.
And this is why.
I’m a member of a club at my college called ARGO, which stands for the Allegheny Role-Playing and Gaming Organization. Every Friday night is games night, where we play a plethora of board games and LOTS of Werewolf (like Mafia, but 100 times better). I’ve met so many awesome people through this club and it’s such a welcoming group…it’s amazing. And it just. Keeps. Getting. Better!!!
On the agenda:
- Going to a haunted corn maze
- Next semester there’s going to be an RPG set in the Firefly ‘verse
- One of the upperclassmen is starting “Nerd School” at games night, where we will “be schooled in the ways of the nerds.” (A direct quote.) AND he said we’ll have to pick a concentration: Spy School, Superhero School, or “The Lair,” which is for the villians. And eventually it’ll turn into a live-action RPG where the superheroes and villians fight and the spies do espionage. =DDD

My dad’s in a local production of Catch-22. (That’s him on the left.) I think this is an awesome picture, and I’m SO proud of him!!! It worked out that I’ll be home on Fall Break from school the same weekend it’s going up, so I’ll get to see him in it. I’m so excited! =D
